Itinerary
We collect you from your accommodation in Durban and surrounding areas and head to Tala Game Reserve, just 45 minutes outside of Durban.
Arriving at Tala, we begin our safari. This private reserve comprises 15 000 hectares of pristine bushveld and is a great place to find your plains game such as giraffe, white rhino, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich, and many species of antelope.
After enjoying viewing the animals found on the rolling hills of the reserve, we visit a large waterhole where we are almost guaranteed to find hippos as well as a wide variety of water bird species.
Time for some Zulu culture. We drive through the scenic Valley of 1000 Hills, arriving at Phezulu Safari Park. We have the opportunity to learn about Zulu culture and history, before watching a traditional Zulu dance. After this, we explore the Reptile Park with its many crocodiles and diverse reptiles, followed by a snake show, where we get to see both venomous and non-venomous snakes that are indigenous to South Africa..
After a full day of wildlife, stunning scenery, and culture, we head back to our accommodation in Durban.
